As you drive out of the Airport,
you will join the Airport Road. You will pass the various Car Hire Depots
on your left and right . When you reach the flyover, you will see a large
Gantry Sign Post over the Road marked with Sao Bras de Alportel. Carry on
this road until you reach the end of the carriageway with a sign post to
the IP.1 and Sao Bras de Alportel again. Take the left hand fork and join
up with the road coming out of Faro. Travel past the Repsol Petrol station
and keep going on this road for approximately 7 kilometres until you reach
the signpost pointing off right to Estoi and Sao Bras de Alportel.
Turn right and then follow this road for 8 Kms.
right up the hill to Sao Bras de Alportel, passing a Total Petrol Station
on your left. Go straight across the Roundabout and carry on to the next Roundabout,
taking the second turning off to the right and keeping left, go on to
the Third Roundabout where you need to take the first right. Go on to
the Fourth Roundabout which has three metal semi circles as a
decoration. Go around and head up the hill, where you will see
a sign post on your left marked PORTELA. Turn left and go up the steep slope
and follow this road for 800 metres. You will see a blue sign for Casa Ferrobo
on your right. Turn in and you will find a small car park.
